TENDER INVITATION NOTICE
The Government of the Republic of Kenya, through the Kenya Embassy, Kinshasa, invites sealed tenders from eligible and qualified contractors for the following:
TENDER NO. : D1052 KIN/DRC/2501 JOB NO. 11565A
TENDER NAME : PROPOSED RENOVATION/RESTORATION WORKS TO THE KENYA EMBASSY,
KINSHASA, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
1. A complete set of tender documents may be obtained by interested tenders upon payment of non refundable fees of 250 USD cash or bankers' cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents may be obtained electronically, free of charge, from the Embassy's official website www.kenyaembassykinshasa.org
2. Tenders shall be quoted in United States Dollars (USD) and shall include all applicable taxes and levies.
3. Tenders shall remain valid for a period of One Hundred and Twenty-Six (126) days from the date of tender opening.
4. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security from bank equivalent to one percent (1%) of the tender sum.
5. Prices quoted shall be fixed for the entire contract period.
6. Pre-tender site visit at 4002 Avenue L'Ouganda, Gombe, Kinshasa, will be held on 3rd March 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.( Central Africa Time)
7. Completed tender documents, serialized and paginated, comprising one (1) original and one (1) copy, shall be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the Tender Number and Tender Name, and addressed to:

8. Completed bidding documents must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Kenya Embassy, Kinshasa, 102 Avenue Roi Baudouin, Gombe (Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.) on or before Tuesday, 10th March 2026 at 12.00 noon, (Central Africa Time). Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of tenderers or their duly authorized representatives who choose to attend.
9. Electronic tenders will not be permitted.
10. Late tenders shall be rejected.
11. Tender evaluation and qualification criteria shall be in accordance with the requirements specified in the tender document and the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and its attendant Regulations.
12. The Kenya Embassy, Kinshasa, reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and is not bound to award the tender to the lowest evaluated bidder.
13. All other conditions stated in the invitation to tenderer shall remain unchanged
